Harrassment, Intimidation and Hostile treatment at its finest

E.R. Solutions contacted me approximately a year ago in regard to an outstanding Cilco Power Company bill, with a service address in Dunlap, IL.

The representative was very quickly able to ascertain that I was the incorrect party by verifying the social security number they had on record from the original creditor. She advised me that my number was located through skip trace efforts and that this company would not bother me again.

On July 24 I received a message on my answering machine stating that Daniel from E.R. Solutions was contacting me and I quote " this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose", and that I should contact him.
On July 31 I contacted Daniel at E.R. Solutions at which point he was able to identify me by my phone number, that I was assured previously had been removed so that I wouldn't receive any further harassing calls. He again stated that he was collecting a debt for a past due Cilco Power bill. I asked at that point for the social security number on file. He stated the last four digits were 6563, which is not a match to my social security number.

At this point I advised that I was contacted previously and was told that I would no longer be bothered with someone else's outstanding debt, to please check their records. His next course of action was to state the mini-Miranda knowing that I was not the correct party. I asked at this point for a supervisor and was told that I would be speaking to Sarah Lee.

I in fact did not speak to Sarah Lee but to a very belligerent man by the name of Curt Warner that advised me that he had been with E.R. Solutions for 13 years and that he was a supervisor. He was immediately interruptive when I tried to explain that I was not the person in question. He stated that I owe a bill and refused to allow me the courtesy of setting the record straight. He then started raising his voice at me, I tried to advise the continued calls are harassing and embarrassing, since they were left on my answering machine and his company had already establish that i was not the correct individual. He refused to let me speak and continued to interrupt.

I was finally forced to end the call as he was of no assistance and completely unprofessional.
I am appalled at the treatment I received about an account that isn't mine.
