Ocwen
Did not pay my taxes with my escrow money

Ocwen was servicing my loan for 18 months. During that time I escrowed with the company paying them every month, so they would pay my taxes. When taxes were due I began recieving notices that the taxes were not paid. I called Ocwen and they assured me via phone that they would be paid by specific dates, but each time i called I had to repeat the same story to new person. You are never allowed to contact the same person, so nobody ever follows through. My cook county real estate taxes were never paid. I was assessed fees that I had to pay along with the back taxes.

I finally refinanced my loan to be rid of Ocwen. My taxes were never paid and my money was never reinbursed to me. Ocwen repeatedly says that there was never enough money. It is impossible for that to be true. I do not know how this company has not been shut down. They must be breaking laws. They robbed me of my hard earned money and continue to lie to me.
