Ripoff scum suckers

Unifund contacted me and said that I owed a debt of $10,330.08 to first usa bank. After contact with them I found out that the debt could have been from Chase Bank, two accounts that I paid in full in november. They told me that the cancelled checks were not proof. I know that they are "junk debt" buyers but in this case Chase sold them an account that had already been payed off.

I found your wed site by typing in unifund and it was the first one to come up. I intend to fight them as well as Chase for selling an account that had been paid off. I also intend to file an complaint with the Ag's office in Ohio.

I'm not sure but it seems that a lot of people who have these kind of problems originate from Cincinnati, Ohio. One company that I researched most of their atterners graduated from Samual P. Chase law school.
