More Attempts to Extort Money Not Owed

These people contact me periodically about an imaginary student loan debt that I do not owe.in fact I contacted the alleged original creditor a few yrs ago & rec'd a letter from them confirming that they have no record of any such debt.

Yet these people insist on harassing me for $ never owed.

I have had to dispute this item more than once on all 3 bureaus. Each & every time, the item was removed promptly b/c of course they can produce NO evidence that any such debt exists.

I am fed up enough now to take serious action. If they think they can extort a dime out of me OR even THINK ABOUT putting more fake info on my credit report the consequences will swift & severe. I have consulted w/my atty and I will take whatever steps are necessary to protect myself & punish these creatures.

And I have filed a complaint w/the FTC & will follow up.

This kind of fraud will NOT BE TOLERATED.
