Palisades Collection, LLC
The second time around with these unscrupulous people. They are attempting to collect a bill for AT&T which is a company I have never had an account with. I fought this in Teller County, Colorado for almost a year and now they are back for more!

In July, I received a phone call from a law firm in Denver, CO telling me I had to immediately send them $1,275.78 to pay for a bill from AT&T that had been "turned over" to them for collection from Palisades Collection, LLC. They would have considered settling for $998.67.

They refused to tell me what the bill was for and since I had never done business with AT&T, I stated that I must be a victim of identity theft and asked to be sent information about the bill, statements, something to help me get the matter corrected. I recieved nothing but a subponea to appear in court.

I appeared in court on 3 different occasions and no one from the law firm ever made an appearance. After the third time, the judge dismissed the case due to lack of evidence and obvious validity of the claim. Now I am being harrassed again by the same company (via an origination company called Paragon Way, Inc.) for the same dollar figure ($998.67) they say I owed, again from an AT&T account that can not be verified, because it never exisited. During the court appearances, I did discover they were suing me for an AT&T credit card of some sort (which I have never owned) and this time they are originally telling me it is for a wireless phone account. Strange that the dollar figures are identical. Obviously they are mistaken about the whole situation!

I found this website today because I was trying to contact them before they contacted me and found that they are named in many, many fraudulent reports. I am definitely angry and frustarted to state to obvious. L
