Brookfield lending is a Canada based scam ripoff

After my son needed money he said he had a company going to loan him $5000 I did some research. The phone numbers that the company calls you back on have Area Codes out of Canada Not TN. I talked with the Money Gram poeple. They said If you send money out of the country there will be no way of getting it back. They also said there have been a lot of this type of scam going on within the last month.

The BBB has no reports on file because no one has filed one. The will give you excuses that they are having long distance carrier problems as to reasons you can't reach them some time. When we called them to ask them where they were located they said Brentwood. When we ask why the phone area code said they were calling from Canada they hung up the phone. The brentwood police have been contacted but can't do a whole lot if the company is not there. The Money Gram people gave me the number for the FBI and said I should call them.
