Ripoff did not return phone calls or e-mails

We signed up with SMC to start a home based business because I had an accident two years ago damaging three discs in my back. It's getting harder for me to work outside the home and my husband can't do it alone.

The cost to start was $24.99 plus $15.99 shipping and handling. I told them I could not do it at the time because I only had $26.00 in the bank. They said they would waive the shipping and handling and send my member kit.

I was told I would get a free website and a free coach to help me get my business up and running. I was told as soon as I got my member kit to call and set up an appointment with my coach.

I had not received my kit and they were calling everyday to see if I had called to set the appointment with my coach. They called on the day I did get it and set the appointment for my coach and I to talk over starting my business.

Katrell Patterson was to be my coach. When he called I was told I had to register with emcdomain to get my store website. I went to the website and registered. I was told this would cost $29.95

I called Katrell to let him know the website was registered. He wanted to get started then but I had 5 grandbabies at my house and was unable to concentrate. We scheduled another appointment.

The next night I waited and waited for his call. I waited an hour and then tried to call him. There was no answer so I had to leave a voicemail. I sent him an e-mail the next day and never got an answer back.

They knew exactly how to prolong all this to ensure the 30 day period passed and we could do nothing. I am upset because I trusted Tom Bosley's face on the commercial. I never thought he could play a part in a rip-off scheme.
