Platinum Mastercard Ripoff Scam Personal Voice Scam

I was contacted about a credit card offer by the Platinum Benefit Group in July. After the application approval, I learned that it was not a credit card at all, it was a prepaid debit card. I immediately, the same day, cancelled my membership before they charged my account. I was then enrolled in another service, Personal Voice, Inc., who is a sister company. Since that time, they have been deducting, monthly, from my bank account. The charges have caused overdrafts on my bank account.

I have never used the service, receive statements, emails, phone calls, or anything else informing me I was enrolled in it. I never signed or received anything regarding Personal Voice. I've asked for a history of my account, as to how it was set up and authorized. They have responded by saying I can only get those records of my account by being subpoenaed by court. I have read a record on the FTC website about a case which I believe was against the same people regarding the credit card policies.

I called repeatedly, the only time I was allowed to speak with a supervisor was when I threatened legal action. They are extremely rude and only repeat their "policies" to you. The "General Manager" "Jen" specifically told me that they don't have to contact you in any way once service is started. And, that even though I cancelled my membership with the "debit card" service, all other services have to be cancelled individually. Request everything in writing before accepting!
