Constant calls and third party contact ripoff

I received a letter from NCO on May 4th about a debt they were trying to collect on. They started calling right away. They contacted me at work which I immediatly told them that I could not received personal calls at work. One week later I received another call from them at work which I again reminded them that I could not receive calls at work. They call my house between 4-6 times a day with mostly hang-up calls.

One week after all this I received a call from my mom stating that this company had been calling her 4 times a day and they told her today, May 29th that if I did not call the company by 5pm that day that my wages would be garnished. They also gave her information regarding this debt. My mom then called me back about 10 minutes later and informed me that they also called my brother-in-law and gave him the same info.

I sent a certified cease and desist letter and verification letter on June 1st. I have not even validated this debt yet and they are already threatening garnishing my wages. I know they violated some laws by giving out this info. What would be my next step now?
