Took our money and RAN

We were looking to take out a small personal loan to pay off some debt and prepare for a baby on the way. We went through the loan process and got all the way to the end when our "agent", Carly Brandon, notified us that we needed to secure the loan by way of "death and disability insurance". We were to pay the insurance in one lump sum and wire $1100.

We questioned the amount being so high and were assured that this was a simple typical process that is happening all the time with online loans. We were also told, and given in writing, that if we made our payments on time for three months, or backed out of the loan before receivign the funding we would get our money back within 15 days. We hesitated and then decided to view the $1100 as that much less of a loan we would be taking out and proceded. We wired the $1100 and called Ms. Brandon with confirmation. She told us our money would be in our account by the end of business that same day.

When it was not we began trying to call. She told us she didn't know why it wasn't there but assured us it would be there the next morning. This continued for 2 days at which time she then told us we would be required to pay an additional $1000... When we questioned this she could not give us sufficient reason why we needed to come up with a total of $2100 for an $8000 loan. So we cancelled the loan and asked for our $1100 back.

During our last conversation with Ms. Brandon she told us, 'How stupid are you to wire the last money you have... To Canada. Your mess is your own fault." Ms. Brandon used other language during that call that we dare not print. After that this company no longer even accepts our calls, returns our messages or pages and has given us absolutely no explanation to why we have not yet... 3 months later. Received our money back. We are a family with 6 children and this company should be completely and totally ashamed of their actions.
