My wife and I applied for loan from HFC in port St Lucie on or about Nov, 1 2007 during the pre-qualified period we never received a HUD or good faith estimate from said establishment it wasn't until we received a phone call from HFC stating that we were quality and have a closing date which was set for Sat of the following week.

On Sat we received a phone call as we were in route to the closing where the manager Joe Schrimsher calls and tells us that there is a problem with the closing and for us to still come in and he would explain the details and provide a solution.

When we arrived at the office it was closed and to the public and yet there where people inside that let us in only. As we where brought in and ask to sit in a different room and with a different sales person we where introduce to Joe the manager of that district. Joe said that there was problem with our credit and the deal that was offered Mon, was not going to work we said what was the deal, Joe said that he could do the deal but it was not at the terms we agree too. Joe said that he was offering us chance to do the deal today with the understanding that he would hold the paper work for 30 days and that would give or credit time to change for the better and than we would get the terms that we disused. So under that assumption we closed that day knowing that we would not have to make a payment on the terms that we agree on 8-26-06.

On or before Sept, 26 -06 we called back to change the terms, but the terms had change again this time to higher interest rate and the woman on the phone said that we would have to refinance all over. At this time I want to speak to Joe, he was never there.

After becoming exhausted with the branch we begin to look for the district manager Sue, when Sue finely call me Back she said that she spoken to Joe, but that Joe had no conversation about holding the paper work for 30days it was if the conversion never took place. But Sue said that she would send me to someone else to take care of us.

She sent us to Bennfinial and we started the process all over again now being late on the mortgage due the conversation with Joe where late and now no one can help. My wife and I are force to sue this company and persons involved for misrepresentation and giving false information while my wife and I where under duress.
