Cross Country Bank visa credit card ripping me off. Charges over and over for nothing I did Boca Raton

I have been having problems with cross country bank visa, for awhile, and after looking on your website, I see I'm not alone.
Whatlegal rights are there for the ones being ripped off?
Each statement I get each month, has a higher balance, and I have cancelled my card months ago, and have been paying them to get the balance to zero... Two months ago I got the statement and I made my payment, and the next month my statement came and it had my balance $100.00 more than the previous month. Like I said I cancelled the acct. At my request, and cut the card up months ago, so how can they add $100.00 more each month, when payments are being made.

Also, they harrass me by phone at work and home, after telling them over and over NOT to call me at work. They continue even if my payment is one day late.

I have made payments and it takes them weeks to process them, and then they add on to me more charges... Isn't there a policy on how long they can hold your payments? Why would they want to hold them? Just so they can charge more and more for their slow processing? This is not right... Should not be legal!
