Sent a threatening letter for collection that is false! Ripoff

Received a a threatening letter in the mail that I failed to pay a balance and failure to pay has resulted in a civil arrangement of up to $300.00 being added to my (false) unpaid FINE. The letter also stated that the Superior Court has notified the DMV to hold/suspend my driving privileges.
Can you believe that! I almost had a heart attack! The letter continues that if I fail to respond within 10 days from the date specified, the balance due, which includes a total amount of $390.00 will be recorded as JUDGEMENT (in big letters). I checked my records and found it by searching day and night and very exhausted and stressed.
But, I finally found it. The amout they needed is not even close to how much I paid. This is fake! Do not send them any money and do not give them your personal information. Thanks and stay safe!
