Cohem $ Slamowitz Sewer Sevice, Default Judgement and Bank Levy from these scum

I received notice of a default judgement on me when trying to make a purchase on my debit card. It turns out Midland Funding using the creeps Cohen & Slamowitz have levied my bank account. This is on a debt that I paid off in 2000 for a credit card from one of those rip-off companies who is now owned by Citi-corp. Unfortunately due to a flood I have found no surving documents to prove this. I have peeled apart every document that I was able to scrape out of the three feet of water over two years ago.

After going to the court and copying the file I found that they served my deceased Mother. (very creative). I filed an order to show cause and stated that I did not owe the debt and that the debt was settled with OC back in 2000. Judge gave me a date for next Friday and wrote in and/or to dismiss on the order.

What I have learned from this situation is that from time-to-time you should check to see if you are being sued. I have a common name and have started to recieve other bills in my name since these jerks have been filing this action against me. I found that they filed in November the same month that I started receiving phone bills from Sprint and others that are in no way connected to me. What an odd coincidence. Especially the one that hit my credit report during the same month the scum got the default judgement. Don't trust these scum. They are sneaky. I can't afford an attorney but have been counseled on what to say but I just want make sure i get it right on Friday. I wonder if they'll even show up in court? Any comments suggestions would be appreciated.
