In August 1998 while serving in the US Navy I purchased a car from Ford. I had my payments taken directly out from my military pay for over 2 years never late not once.in November I got out of the military and directed the dispersing clerk to take My seperation pay of $3600 and pay to Ford.

I found out on Feb 14th thats was not done when FORD repossed my car with no warning at all. I filed a police report and then call Ford about it. They told me that they had repossed it because I didnt pay. When I asked how to get it back they gave no information. I finally got my Separation pay in May when I contacted DFAS. I had no further contact from Ford until I saw that there was a balance of over $12k listed on my credit report in February I contact them and they said sorry we forget to take off the amount the vehicle was sold for off the balance.

Then in August I get a letter in the Mail from Weltman, Weinberg, And Reis threatening to sue me. I contact them and then in September I set up a payment plan with them through Freedon Point. After each payment was made I would get a harrasing phone call saying $150 was not enough. They kept switching my file over to other attorneys to call me. I stop Freedom point and starting mailing in the payments and they have refused to cash them.

Now they are sueing me for the 7100 dollars plus they have now decided to add the last five years of interest on. They are some dishonest people.
