Household Bank
Is holding our payoff checks and we are incuring latepayent charges

Our issues started with HSBC when we tried to make a payment over the phone. We assumed all was well untill we recieved 7 harassing phone calls in one day. We again tried to make a payment over the phone and it took severeal days to process which HSBC again hit us with latepayment charges.

We then went to our bank and consoladated our credit cards so we could pay off HSBC and told them that. Big mistake. We sent the payoffs March 7th along with other payoffs for credit cards. All of them where processed in three days. However, HSBC is telling us they still have not recieved them and have now changed our payment day so that we are going to be hit with yet another latepayment charge that will now take us over our limit and, you guessed it, another charge.

I spoke with the "Agents", and I use that term very lightly and made sure that I could refrence back to the phone call and was told of course you can and I then told him I was recording the phone call as well. He then told me that he would not give me his ID number in fear of jeporodizing his job. These guys are out of the UK and the Phillipines.

We are gonna go after these guys and would love to hear other horror stories. We want to pay off what we where credited and be done with them. However, they will not let us. Never ever do business with Household Bank they are RIPOFF ARTISTS!!
