Took my payments, stole our van, rude, and misleading ripoff ohio

After falling behind on our installment loan due to my M.S. Illness my wife informed the bank that we would be a little behind on making our payments. Trying to work with the bank we let them know of our situation and they said they would work with us. That's when they started calling our home at least six times a day, even after telling them numerous times that we had talked to someone about our situation.

February, 16 our van was reposessed, on February, 17, I drove two and a half hours to the nearest fifth third bank office in Effingham, Il. And paid our loan not only current, but $900.00 ahead. This was done before the 2:00 P.M. Deadline. My wife informed a gentleman in the Ohio branch of this and he said that it needed to be paid before 2:00 P.M. Ohio time. {WHAT A BUNCH OF CROCK}.

So if we wanted to locate our van we would have to call back on tuesday, the day after presidents day to see if they could locate our vehicle. We were not given any information by the repo co. As to where our vehicle might be taken. We will be filing a stolen vehicle report, contacting the attorney generals office, and the better business bureau.

They will not work with you, they will take your money gladly for a vehicle that I do not even have. I am paying insurance and I have payed for the license plates on the vehicle. Ever since my payments were made current and beyond, the constant harrassing phone calls have stopped, but when we try to get some answers out of these people, they know nothing.

Avoid doing business with this facility at all costs. There are plenty of other banks that will do business with you and treat you like a person deserves to be treated.
