Horrible Mortgage Company, Last-Minute Mortgage Brokers

After contacting Madrate, or Madison First Financial for a mortgage rate listed from Bankrate.com, they indicated that everything would go smoothly. However, they left out vital information which was necessarily for approval of my mortgage application, then they decided to notify me of such information 5 days before my closing date. I had to find another mortgage company, which extended my closing date 5 days, in which I had to pay the holding costs from the seller. Also, they did not reimburse me on my appraisal fee, in which they never completed because their appraiser was out of state.

The broker at Madison First Financial that handled my application never returned my phone calls or emails inquiring about information. Madrate cost me over a 1,000.00 dollars in fees, due to having to go with another mortgage company. They are inept, unprofessional, and a liability for any home buyer looking to secure a mortgage at a low rate.

I was misled and not notified in at an appropriate time of information which they withheld. Do not use madrate.com or madison first financial. They have never compensated me for all the money they caused me to lose.
