They were rude, threatening, hung up on me, will not settle on a balance. Ripoff

I was reveiwing my credit report when I discovered Midland Credit on there showing a amount owed on a credit card I opened up in 10. THe original card credit line was only 350.00, because it was one of those starter cards that was supposed to resore credit... Ha!!! I called them with the intention of paying a settlement balance of the priginal 350.00.

The lady I spoke with said that the settlement balance was NOT my decision, nor was I entitled to EVEN ASK for anything lower than what they were asking for, which is OVER 650.00. I was so offended, and I told her I am trying to work with her but she's making it impossible. Yet she told me that if I did not like what she was hearing she could not care less. Then she threatened me and said that they had EVERY RIGHT to pursue me until and would take my charges to a "higher level". I was then HUNG-UP on.

I need help because my credit is screwed because of this and the people are RUDE!
