Midland Credit Management
And Fingerhut. Settled Not according to my Credit Reports! Ripoff

I was lead to believe that Midland Credit Man - agement, settled my Fingerhut account last year. I was told that I would receive a Zero Balance Sheet, showing that it was settled.

As of this date, some 8 months or more have gone by, and I have received nothing.

Twice, I have called Ryan Adams, at their offices, located at, God knows where, and asked for this "ghost zero balance sheet".

As of this date I have not heard from him. Also my credit reports show no resolution of this Fingerhut account, and now it also shows no resolution of the Midland Credit Management account.

While I haven't received the "ghost zero balance sheet", they have been quick to send me several new billings for the Fingerhut account.

These new billings show no settlement of any kind. The last one I received offered to reduce my account balance by 25%, if I settled today.

From here on I will never settle with another credit agency as long as I am still alive, and I am going to put this into my will, so they can't collect from my family.
