Wells Fargo Harassment over auto loan Ripoff

Wells Fargo will begin calling you, as they refer to it "a friendly payment reminder", on the very day after your payment is due. This will continue and the frequencey of calls will increase. It doesn't seem to matter to them that 'harassment' laws exist on this type of activity.

My last 'fun' with these folks, no pun intended, ended up with calls even after I made a payment online. I'll bet my last dollar this will not be my last call this week.

Yes, I'm sure all you knwolegeable folks are going to reply that they have the right to call. I'm not going to get into this discussion again with you. When firendly reminders go to 'when can we expect payment, and they press for online check payment, that's not a reminder. Especially multiple calls each day.

I have decided all calls will be being logged from this last episode. Take it for what it's worth Wells Fargo. I don't mind a 'friendly reminder'. I do take exception when the calls turn advesarial, threatening, and pushy. Get over it, stuff sometimes happens that make things a few days behind.

To you the consumer. Make your own choice when dealing with these fine folks. Myself, I will re-finance at the earliest possible opportunity.
