Ripoff, Outrageously high interest rates. Unrealistic payback schedules. Unclear and misleading phone sales tactics

My wife and I were getting married in Feb. 2006. We needed extra money to pay for the wedding and honeymoon.

We saw the ad for Cash Call on T.V. And called the number. I spoke in great length with the loan agent. Getting all the information took 2 days. At no time did the loan officer indicate what the terms of the loan were or the payback requirements

We asked them at least four times to send us the loan documents so we would have paperwork for our files. We never received them until just recently. That was when we found out what we were into. They are charging us 59% interest for 120 months. We have been paying them for 11 months and we have not even touched the principal, all we have been paying is interest. This cannot be fair or ethical.

I am not trying to get out of the loan, I would be willing to continue to pay them the balance of the principal minus what we have already paid them. We would have them back their $5,000.00 in about nine months.

I understand that you should read things before you sign them, but I had went over so much info with the loan officer that I figured that everything was on the table. He never made it a point to tell me to make sure that I read the terms and agreement page before signing.

Their business practices are so unfair that I am surprised that the State of California Attourney Generals office allows them to remain in business.
