Making false loan promises, will take your money ripoff

I saw an ad for a personal loan in the East Bay Express here in Northern California. I called the number and someone named Mary took minimal information from me. I told her the loan amount I needed. She said to call back in 2 hours. I called back and they said I was approved. She then said I needed to send a good faith payment of $110, via Western Union quick collect. I did that and was told the funds would be in my account no later than that weekend.

That was on December 22. I called when the funds were not there and was told they had a computer virus and it would take several days to get fix, but they would call me when all was taken care of. I continued to call every week, but to no avail. I finally called early this week and they told me the funds would be there on the 18th, which was yesterday. As of today, the funds are not there.

Please do not do any business with this company, this is a scam.
