Ripoff foreclosure threats just one month after buying my loan

Our original loan through Litton Loan was sold to ASC in June. I had no idea that this was taking place until I went to make my mortgage payment.

When I went on line to pay our mortgage to Litton Loan they said there was no record of my loan on file. I contacted them to see what was going on and they informed me that my loan was sold.

They told me that I should have gotten a welcome packet from ASC 3 weeks before to let me know where to make my payments and so on. I never got the packet and didnt have a number to call them.

Now in a panic, I didnt know what to do. I called all over trying to find this companys address, phone number or fax. Of course Litton Loan wouldnt give me any information.

Finally in August I got a letter in the mail from Americas Servicing Company stating that I was in default because I did not make my payment to them.

Ok now at this time the panic attacks were gone and the anger has set in. I called the number they had on the letter and to my surprise it went to a answering machine that said it was full and to call back at a later time.

3 months have gone by still no contact with them and no where to send my payment. Now Iam getting nervous. We have 4 little girls and all I was thinking about is that they are going to try to take my house.

In September I got a message on my recorder, " This message is for the homeowner of xxxxx property in hemet. This is not a sales call. I need you to call me back asap at 866-453-6315.

I called back right away and did talk to John. He would not give me his last name or ext #. I told him what happened and he said well Iam sorry this happened but in order for you to stop the foreclosure proceedings I need you to make a payment.

Ok that fine. I will make a payment. I had to pay $3500.00 that day and another $3500.00 in two weeks. I dont know whats going on with this company but it takes them 3-4 weeks to post my payments.

I sent my Januarys payment in on the 22 of December and it still hasn't posted to my account. So now after contacting my realator to see about getting away from these people I have a foreclosure started and a bunch of 30 day lates on my credit.

These people are not honest and do whatever they can to make a buck. I have to pay a $78.00 late fee every month because these people are lazy and cant seem to run an honest business. Come on people how hard is it to cash a check???

All I can say is stay away from these people. I cant see them doing business for very much longer. Not after all these reports I have read.
