Unfair and unlawful

I will be the first to admit, I owe Alliance one a lot of money. I was young and stupid, really did not care about collections. I am now older and wiser.

Now that I am becoming responsible and paying attention to my credit and my life, I have contacted them to work on my accounts with them. Needless to say I have a lot of accounts 33 precisely. I know WOW that's a lot, trust me I know im living it.

Anyhow I owe over 22,000 in collections, 12,000 is just there Fees. For collections dating back to 96. I was trying to work with them because they suspended my driver's license. Now they want the full amount paid before I can get my license back, or at least there fees paid first 12,000!!

This is insane, isn't there a statue of limitations out there for this? I tried to work out a payment plan, no go unless I pay 1,500 down and after I pay 12000 they will reinstate my license. WHAT THE HELL!!!

So now I am stuck, I can't get my license, which means I can't drive, which means my current job I have to give up because no public transportation reaches out where I work.

So to keep my job and support my family I must break the law and prey Im not caught, and come up with 12,000.00 in the mean time. Yes I know I screwed up in my past being irresponsible, but damn isn't there anything I can do..
