Needs class action, rude false collections rip off

Northland group called and stated that I owed from a creditcard I recieved in 98. I never recieved the card or gave permission to capitol one to issue the card. I had an old card that I paid off.

The woman was extremely rude and unprofessional. She swore, degrated my children and husbnd etc. I repeatitively asked Megan to be professional and give me the source of debt. She refused, eventually hanging up on me. I called back and she continued to hang up on me never providing any legitimat source, but just harrasing me to pay my "debt" (which was false).

Northland group will not help clear this up and continues to send me to Megan. After reading other eports filed on this site against them, I do feel we should start a class action lawsuit. They have threatend many things more then just destroying all of our credit reports.

This harrasement can be stopped, but needs the strength of numbers. We need to all start with contacting the comsumer protection buaruea. I will provide more info in that on an update. If we all file a claim at the same time it may open some eyes.

In the interum I am having trouble clearing my credit, but feel I should not pay a made up bill. I currently have a dispute with Capitol One. I hope they will clear this up. Do you think they will?
