Fraudulent advertising and misleading the consume

I too was fooled into believing that a "free" credit report would be free. I was charged a fee to my credit card and when I called to complain, i was treated like a second class citizen - as if it was my fault that i was being charged. I immediately cancelled my "membership" - of which i did not agree. I also asked for an email or fax confirming my membership was cancelled and was told that service was not offered.
