Providian Washington Mutual
Ripoff Failure to pay credit balance after account closed

Business & Finance

Closed my account over a month ago after getting screwed by crazy interest rates for 4 yrs I finally paid off my balance and closed the account. They then charged me (direct draft) $222.00 causing my bank account to overdraft with over 280.00 in fees. Now Providian has a credit balance of 365.00 of my money for over a month, and they refuse to get it back to me in a timely manner. Its been over a month and still haven't seen a check or anything!!! When I called for the 4th time in the month I've been pushed around and put on hold for over 45 min just to get my own damn money back!!! I am a college student and $365 they owe me is a little less than what I have to live on for the month. I cant put gas in my car or eat because of the rip-off institution!!! Where is my justice, I am pissed!!!
