Ripoff tax fraud predatory mortgage company dishonest

This company is out to destroy anyone who ever lands in a position of financial hardship.in my husband suffered a back injury and was out of work for 3 months (during which at the same time my infant daughter was hospitalized at 10 weeks old for seizures). We fell behind, but worked very hard to get caught up.

As soon as we were up to date, we were contacted via mail that we did not pay our taxes for 2003 and 2004. We contacted Homecomings and faxed them 9 times copies of the paid receipts for the taxes. Still claiming they were not paid we were placed into forced escrow. At the same time, they raised our rate and have continued to do so almost every 3 months (from 7 to 12.5%). They constantly say they will contact the tax dept, but no one ever does. They sent me a financial work-up so we can set up better arrangements, and then denied us help. I also just received notice that my 2005 city taxes were never paid and I will go up under sherrif sale if I do not pay them. Hello&escrow!

When I called Homecomings they said they voided the check for an unknown reason. Now I have fees on top of the taxes and they took the money out of my payments! I was also advised that in July they decided not to escrow my city tax anymore and never notified me. They are brutally dishonest and prey on anyone who suffers any problems. We were served with forclosure papers and are paying them exactly what they want until we can sell this property (we are under contract). I have requested a payoff statement and am still waiting results. I am scared to see just how much money they think we owe them since we cannot go online anymore. My mortgage was sold to Homecomings less than one month after we got it and our lives have been miserable ever since. Stay away from them if you like your home, chances are they will take it out from you.
