Unfair company practice Ripoff

Allstate decided to change my class code and increased my bill by $40, because they said they paid a claim in April. This what I was told when I called the 1-800 number. They have renewed my policy twice since then, this is Oct. If they can do this to me whats stopping them from going back on any of their customers for any claim that happened years ago and changing the code and charging more money. Be Carefull when filling a claim, it may cost you more money in the future.
