Ripoff there loan servicing dept caused me to file Bankruptcy

Household mortgage sent us a notice of foreclosure my wife and I were suprised we had never missed a payment. They said that we were on an adjustable rate mortgage and had not been sending in the full amount for over a year. We were aware that we were on a adjustable mortgage but never recieved notice of the adjustment and how much the payments had changed.

Come to find out it had adjusted 3 times and we owed over 11,000 in back interest for not paying the correct amounts. They would not set up payment arrangements or anything told us if we did not bring the amount current they would foreclose.

We had no way to come up with the money and had to file bankrupt in order to keep our house. These guys are crooks with a capital C. I would recommend anyone who has them to refinance out and for anyone looking to purchase to run if the name household even comes up!!!
