Startup Essentials
Ripoff fraudulent dishonest no contact

Business & Finance

This company contacted me after I responded to an ad to make some extra money. I spoke to DeeDee and she transferred I to Teri Larkin. I was told that the fees would be taken out of the bank account and I informed her that I did not have an account. She wasked if I had anyone who could help me and I said maybe my grandmother could. She contacted my grandmother and discussed everything with her. We waited for the charges to show up in the account but were unaware that they would show up as a different business (Bond Corp). The amount was different than listed in the contract. My grandmother closed the account in August and we waited to be contacted about payment. We were never contacted until October. My grandmother received a letter stating that she was delinquent in payments and that payment arrangements needed to be made within 5 days. My grandmother contacted them to find out what she could do but she never received an answer.

Finally days later she spoke to a man (Ill find out his name) who told her that there was nothing he could do and she owed $5000 by the 17th. She forgot to ask him if he needed the laptop back so she called him back right away and was told he was out of the office for the rest of the day. She has yet to hear back from them. BEWARE of this company! They prey on those who dont understand them (they spoke to my grandmother without me on the phone so I couldnt explain anything to her).
