United Vision Financial
United vision financial lie deceive dishonest ripoff

Business & Finance

When I was contacted by this company I was made promises that were broken. The employee, David Pereque told me several times that I had no prepayment penalty with my original loan with World Savings. I told him that I felt I did, and if I indeed did, I did not want to go through with the refinance. He INSISTED I did not, several times.

On my estimated closing costs sheet, there was no sign of a prepayment penalty. I was to receive a check for money cashed out just over 15,000. When I got the check, it was for 11,935.84, which surprised me. I then looked at my final statement sheet to see a prepayment penalty of over 4000 dollars. I also felt that the processing fee of 7000 dollars was too much. I told David this and he told me it would be 5000. Of course, it turned out to be 7000 dollars.

When I got my check I immediately called United Vision, for 4 straight days. I left numerous messages, never responded to. It wasn't until a month later, when an employee of theirs named Ralph called me. He was only calling to try to hook me up in another "better" loan, not to discuss my situation. I explained it to him, and he assured me he would get back to me.

I waited two weeks, left him messages, and once again, no return call. I then decided to go there myself. I spoke to the Processing manager David, who was somewhat helpful and promised me I would hear from a manager. I waited 2 more weeks, no call. Then finally after I called David again, I got a call from a manager who claims there is nothing they can do.

Very poor handling of the situation and I would like to make them pay.
