Ripoff deliberate causing of late fees

I have had a Blair account for years, and last year WFCB took over their fiancing. Up until last momth, I have had a perfect record of paying early and never being late.

Because I get paid every two weeks, August was a three-pay period month, and as is my custom, all my bills got paid from the first check of the month.

That means that my payment for August got to Blair on August 3rd. They maintain that because it got there before the end date, they "chose" to put the August payment into July. That means that I would have two payments in July, as my July payment was received around the 15th of the month. When I called the automated service to check on my paymnent amount, I was shocked to hear that I was one month late, had a two month payment due as well as a late fee of $29.00.

Now mind you, my due date for this account is the 28th or the 29th of the month. At no time has my payment been delivered after the 20th of the month, they have all ways been early. Now I am facing having to pay $86 to bring myself up to date, which I do not have. I have mailed them a letter expressing my deep concern and requesting that the late fee be waived, that the second July payment be credited to August, since it was received on August 3rd, and that my account be put back to its proper amount BEFORE I send in my payment of $32.00 for September. I also faxed a copy of that request to billing.

I was informed by the woman in billing that I spoke to, that they will NOT take off the late fee and they will NOT change the payment.

I will NOT pay another cent on this account until it is set straight. I don't believe that this is fair and I feel like I have been ripped off. I will probably lose all my wages because they will garnish them and probably lose my house too, but I firmly believe that this is wrong.
