I have a notice claiming returned check charge. 2nd Notice. Per them, because a check had to go through and didn't clear until the second time, they can charge me 30.00. I tried to call the number they had posted and I get a recording saying that the number isn't a valid number or I can't get through dialing 1-800-242-2080. I am sorry, the check cleared, I can't get a hold of the company and I am getting letteres 'dunning' me. I don't believe that is legal. I am going to notify our state attorney general. (Yes, I made an error in balancing my account which caused the check to bounce one time. But they put it through again and it cleared!)
