Ripoff scam

I was called by Capital First to optain a credit card for 19.95, they told me more about it, the no interest fee, credit line of $2,500, etc. All I had to do was give them the 19.95 and they would send it to me. It was a free 7 day free trial, but if I choose to keep it after my 7 day's, it would cost 59.95 for a processing fee, and 99.95 for a annual fee. I asked them if I decided to keep it, if I could have it billed to the credit card cause I did not have that much money, the guy on the phone said "YES" we do it all the time like that.

So I gave them my bank account #. I waited 2 weeks, and had not received my credit card. I called them on a Friday, the lady said it hadn't been mailed out yet and to expect it at the end of the next week, or the beginning of the next. It came the beginning of the next on a Tuesday. When I received it, it was not a credit card they sent me. It was a package of information about the Mastercard, and a bunch of applications to fill out and send back so then they could approve me for the card.

It wasn't a credit card at all, it was a debit card, I had to put the money into it before I could use it. So I closed up the package, called them, got customer service that said, Due to the high quanity of calls leave your name and phone # and we will return your call. Needless to say, no one called me back so I could cancel. I called twice that day, twice the next, and twice the next. On the 3rd day that I had my package, they had taken the 59.95 and 99.95 out of my checking account.

It has been 5 weeks now, I call them every day, get totally different answers every day, have wrote their so called "CORPRATE" office 3 different letters, spent money on those to have them sent registered. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney's General for our state. I have also had fees I had to pay to my bank to try and have a stop payment, a reverse payment...

I am totally blown away by this, I spent well over $250.00 and have nothing to show for it. We need to put a stop to this company.
