Raises finance charges, lied about reasons

Three months ago I recieved a letter stating my finance charge would be raised to 27.99% or higher due to changes in my equafax report. I went online and checked my report and saw the only changes were for the better, not worse. I have an excellent payment record with this company as with my other credit cards.

They waited until they charged my account the rediculous yearly fee of $59.00 and then hit me with this bogus finance charge.

I feel something needs to be done about this. We are being cheated and stolen from under the guise of cleaning up our credit. I have turned off my card. Will they now report bad things about me on my credit report??
