Fraudulent & illegal methods of collecting information ripoff

I have no idea - what AmeriCredit is selling or what they are trying to get - or what other reason this company decided to call my mother's telephone number - NOT MINE! But they did! They called and then they proceeded to lie to her about how they got the number (they told my elderly mother, I had filled out an application and listed her as a reference)

Then, they proceeded to question her as to my work status and living status all the while misleading her as to the intent of the phone call. I have never filled out any application with this company - or it's subsidiaries. I own my '96 VW Passat outright (thank God!) This is a fraudulent attempt to collect information! The person who called and left their name was Ms. McKissock.

If they have information they would like to get about me - please try to obtain it in a LEGAL manner! Not by lies and alarming little old ladies.
