Sued The Wrong Person! Ripoff

Love, Beal & Nixon served me paperwork concerning a debt owed to FIRST RESOLUTION INVESTMENT. The letter said I had so many days to respond. I have never heard of this Investment Firm nor was the amount in collection status even simular to anything on my credit report. I responded by calling them to inform them that they were mistaken and/or had the wrong person. They were very rude and did not seem to care.

Just the month prior a skip trace was done on someone with my name. I researched it myself and found that person, same name, different age, but lives in CA. I do not know if this was related or not.

Both times I called them they tried to bully information out of me but I did not give them my SSN and such. I do know that when I questioned her I learned that LOVE, BEAL AND NIXON did not have my or anyone's social security number, my date of birth or any identifying information for this suit.

They still got a default judgement against me for FIRST RESOLUTION INVESTMENT. After I learned this I called again and a supervisor got on the phone and said "oh yea you're the one who won't give us your social security number or verify who you are". I said I will verify your information, what is the last 4 or DOB on your records? She refused once again, I said if you sued me you need to be sue you have the right person. She was a bi*h to me.

I went to the court house and got a copy of the file. There are 2 pieces of paper in the court file. There is NO identifying information anywhere or on the court order to include their original filing. I honestly belive this is a scam or a mistake or something fraudulent I am a victim to.

I do not know what to do to have this judgment reversed and removed from my background.
