Apex Mortgage Ripoff misleading lied damaged cost the homeowne

Levette Jimenez with Apex Mortgage was untruthful from the start. She sent over a mortgage approval letter for me to show my home seller with the offer to purchase her house. Prior to presenting the offer I checked with the State Corporation Commission to make sure they were a licensed broker

I then checked the Better Business Bureau Website for any complaints and also this site for Consumer complaints. Everything appeared fine. The home seller said she had used this company before for her loan.

Three hours before the final settlement on the house, I was told by the Buyer's real estate agent that the lender said the buyer did not qualify for the loan.

I called the State Corporation Commission to file a complaint since my Seller had moved out of her house and had performed all of the required inspections to sell the property, not to mention had her house off the market since it was suppose to be closing.

I found out only the consumer (the lender's client) can file a report. During this conversation with the SCC, it was discovered that Aapex Mortgage was doing business as Apex Mortgage which has a good reputation.

Aapex Mortgage on the other hand had 29 complaints in the last 36 months and did not have an address in Virginia Beach, Virginia. When I looked up Levette Jimenez online, much to my surprise she was located in Matoaca, Virginia (10 minutes from my office) and was doing business out of her house. Her lender letter had a bogus address of Virginia Beach and her number listed was a cell phone number.

Beware of this company. The Apex Mortgage in Chesterfield is the legit one. The one with the principal agent named Roy Williams with several addresses in Florida is the ones to watch out for.
