Ripoff on AT & T Bill and Palasades Collection

I was contacted via my cell phone and informed that I owed $1162.00 for an A T & T cell phone from April and that they had purchased the collection from A T & T. I have never had a cell phone from A T & T.

I was also informed that Tru Logic had purchased a collection account on me from Palasade Collection Agency and when I asked what it was for the representative couldn't tell me any information regarding the account. This account is for $316.01.

I was told that I could dispute both accounts in writting and she gave me a P O Box address.

Im wondering what I should do now. I think that writting a letter might further their effort to collect on these bogus charges.
