Mis-applying payments

We became severely delinquent in our mortgage payment and taxes but were able to find the money to get current as of March '06. According to two reps at Option One Mortgage Co., $8K would go to reimburse Option One for the RE taxes they paid and the balance of the funds we sent would catch up our mortgage.

Guess What... The dopes at OOMC misapplied the money AND has continued to pay our RE taxes. We do not have an impound account and the reps at OOMC cannot give me the name of the person from the town that requested the RE tax payment. They are scrambling and grabbing their butts.

On top of it all, the reps are not even English speaking. OOMC has out-sourced their customer service department and I am being assisted by someone probably located in India (who speaks better English than I do Hindi, etc).

I have been told tonight that after paying out $15K to these blood suckers and paying my mortgage payment promptly every month since March, that I am two months behind in my mortgage (!!!) because they misapplied money AND unilaterally decided to CONTINUE to pay my RE taxes. I am in homeowner hell.

Tomorrow I call the town to find out what the *ck happened and call OOMC to try again to get my point across without pictures and arrows.
