Capitol Finacial Merchant Card
Ripoff

Business & Finance

On 06-29-06 I received a call on my cell phone from a "Thomas", introducing himself to me as an affiliate of Capitol One and stated I could receive a 2000.00 merchant credit limit that would rebuild and repair the credit score I already have.

Unfortunately "Thomas" had enough of my personal information to make me feel somewhat secure of his legitimacy. He then stated several times to verify and repeat important personal information and any incorrect information he gave, unfortunately, I clarified.including SSN#, mother's maiden name, and banking information.

I received this call while at work and upon gaining some free time I then called back a number he reffered me to for customer service, which was no help so I Goooogled the name for an internet site and this rip-off site was the first to come up.

Now i'm in the process of following all necessary steps to protect myself from any unauthorized activity.
