Ripoff trying to collect debt discharged in bankruptcy over 12 years ago

Business & Finance

NCO has a credit inquiry on my credit and has sent 3 collection letters to my former address over 12 years ago. They are trying to collect a credit card debt that was discharged in a bankruptcy in 1994. The interest amount it almost the same as the original debt amount.

I have no idea what to do, the first letter was last fall, my parents send them to me when they receive them. But I have been denied credit based on 'too many inquiries' and their unauthorized inquiry is one of them.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
