Incompetent Staff Ripoff

My husband had a savings account with Bank of America, we kept our life svings in this bank. The first incident happend when I went to the Bank of America at 6614 Garners Ferry Rd back in Jan they were busy and I waited in line for about 5 minutes got to the counter gave the teller my Military ID and South Carolina license the teller informs me, I am not on the account, I told her this is incorrect, I waited for the supervisor (Who was on the phone) after 10 minutes I left and confronted my husband. He went back to the same bank after work and the supervisor checked the account out and could not understand why the teller said I was not on the account. Second incident, my husband went back to the same bank (Closer to work) June to withdraw a large sum of money, he gave the teller his military ID, SC drivers license and the paper card with the account number on it, the one they give you when you first open an account. The teller tells him unless he has an ATM card too she can not give him our money, then told him to see the superviosr after he stood in line 10 minutes. The supervior was with a customer and had 2 people waiting. We finally had enough went to BOA in Lexington, SC closed our account and withdrew ALL of our money. The area manager just made excuses for this banks supervior Alica, NEVER APOLOGIZED. Since, some friends and I have closed our accounts, because of staff like those at 6614 Garners Ferry Rd. Columbia, SC and found professionalism with my money at a better bank with competent staff to include supervisor and area manager.
