Takes $345.00 in OVERDRAFT FEES from SINGLE MOTHER within 2 weeks, Ripoff!

In the last 2 weeks alone, Wachovia Bank in Clementon N. J has taken $345.00 out of my banking account for overdraft fees and non-sufficient funds fees. They tell me we live in a digital world and the computer "just does it on its' own."

If there is not enough money in an account for 5 minutes it seems like every single purchase and check written in the past 30 days magically posts during those exact five minutes. How can a bank get away with charging these fees by just saying " it's a digital world"?

I am not by any means playing the Single Mom card, but it has come to the fact that I can't buy diapers and food for my son, or even put gas in my car this week to go to work, not to mention pay the mortgage this month.

I am not asking for pity, I just don't believe WACHOVIA BANK needs $35.00 from me everytime thier computer performs a TASK. You better believe Wachovia Bank will noT accept half a mortgage payment, and just say..."o, k, kust pay the rest next week when you get caught up on all your overdraft fees."

If there is a lawsuit, I would love to tell my story.
I have also asked supervisors from Wachovia if I couldset up a payment plan to pay off these fees, so that I could feed my son this week, and they told me that Wachovia was not in a position to do such things. Does Wachovia need to do this, or do they choose to do so out of greed?

Does anyone know if there is anyone I could speak with at Wachovia to get these fees returned to me so that my son can eat tommorow?
