I recieve hundreds of offers in the mail in my maiden name daily. Some are good sound offers, others are not, and others are just plain scams. I claimed bankrupcy two years ago, and ever since the offers just flow in. This one takes the cake. I called them and listened to their spiel for 20-25 minutes gave them a fake checking account number, SS#, and address, and low and behold, they wanted to charge my account directly the amount of $199.99 for activation fees. Then on top of that, they wanted another $99.00 for an annual fee. And this is not even a credit card! It is a 'merchandise card'. Available for catalogs, cash on demand, and check cashing access. And they are using the name Allstate in their spiel. Just like the insurance company. Same spelling. Kendragrand ledge, Michigan
