Is ripoff company from hell that victimized many consumers

I seen at this website alot of reports about First Capital Consumer Group. They called me today and like most other's I asked several questions. I thought it was very strange to get a Mastercard with 2,000 credit limit with 0%. Once I receive that and activated the card using the supplied pin number. I was suppose to receive the Visa with a 2,500. Limit at 4.9%.

All for a one time fee of $199. But after reading all the information at this site, I decided to call and cancel the debit from my bank account. I received a phone number from them initially 416-488-4664. While waiting for the Security verification person to call me, I called that number. Like everyone else I received mailbox full, please hang up.

I told the man I called the number and what happened and he gave me another number 416-488-4868 it was suppose to be a newer number, and I didn't see anyone list it here. After reading all these reports about this company I called the other number to cancel. I received a human being, I told her what I read here and I wanted to cancel the card. She took my information and said she would take care of it. About 10 mins. Later she called me back, asked when I made this transaction because she could not find me in the system.

I told her it was today so she asked me more questions to help find me easier and stop the processing. She said she can't blame me for canceling due to reading bad reports about the company, and suggested I call or go to the bank in the morning to make sure First Capital Consumer Group did not debit my account. I don't know if this site hurt or helped me. I was worried with the one number with mailbox full, but when I received a live person just like any other business after a couple of rings (3 to be exact), I was questioning my decision.
