Beware! J.K. Harris does not deliver! Charges are outrages. Service they promise not delivered. EVER! Don't waste your time and money. You will come away frustrated, angry, and either poorer or deeper in debt. Best advice: stay away! Hire an accountant. (DON'T go to H & R BLOCK either. They're just as bad.)

The J.K. Harris rep in Kansas City, Cathy Housh, spent 20 minutes with me (to fill out my contract) gave me a cheap, hand assembled, hand stapled booklet, and told me to go home, sort out the papers I had brought with me by myself, and fill in the appropriate sections of the booklet.

When I asked about help sorting out my paperwork (They say in their ads 'thoroughly analyze your situation' or something similar) she replied. "That's what we call a 'box job' and it's $2,000.00 for each tax year.", I had 3 years to do (they never mention that in their ads) With that she handed me back my credit card and bid me 'goodbye'. This 20 minute 'service' cost me $1,400.00!

The rest of the story reads like everyone else's, the run-around. Passing the buck, phone calls that were not returned, etc.
