AMC Mortgage Services
Ameriquest, Ripoff inflated Appriasals

Business & Finance

I wanted to report this so any attorney in my area who is handling the exsisting litigation can contact me. My house should have probably appraised for about $60,000 but the appraiser said $70,000. A year later when an Ameriquest employee who was handling my possible refinance (and told me not to pay the next house note because I wouldn't have to pay the next two... Boy was he wrong!) they again appraised the house and it was $75,000 then. The attorney who handled my closing when I purchased the home will go to court July 24th since she was caught for allegedly handling closing based on false documents and appraisals. My note was $569 when I first got the house. I was newly divorced with four children trying to get a home for us. Now due to the company raising the interest rate every six months the payment is over $700 per month. I began at 8.3% which was good for me at the time and then when the two years was up it went up and is currently at 11.2% As I understand it they will jack it up each six months until I am able to refinance. Any attorney involved with the current litigation against this company and thinks I can help, contact me. Thanks!
